valentine flowers

i thought i would share these valentine flowers i fell in love with. :)  i first came across them in, all you, magazine, but have since seen them in a couple others too..they all have a different twist on them.  i couldn't find these on their website though.  i thought they were so simple, cute and festive.

all you do:
cut out 2 different sized hearts from festive scrapbook paper...glue the little heart to the bigger one...
punch a hole in the bottom of each heart...
line them all up and stick a dum-dum lollipop (wrapped in cellophane) through the holes.  you can tape underneath to secure.

it's as easy as that!  stick 'em in a cute container, a terra cotta pot, or even add them to something like i did.

i love them!  this is one of the crafts we are doing at the kiddos valentine's party we are throwing!

happy flower making! :)

Such a fantastic idea! After reading this post last night, I had a dream about making them. My daughters first birthday is around the corner and I'm pretty sure I'll be making these as part of the table decor. You seriously have the best ideas. I am doing a CandyLand themed party for her birthday and googled ideas and your blog is the best I have seen thus far.

aww thank you for the comment! i really appreciate it! that sounds like a great idea to use for the party (and that is so funny that you dreamt about it..it was meant to be! haha). these are great because you can use them for anything..parties, holidays, etc. they are so simple, yet so cute and would make for a great accent to anything! :)
