let's celebrate our RISEN SAVIOR: Easter celebration

there's is nothing greater than an Easter celebration. something about gathering your closest friends and family in celebration of our risen Savior. not to mention everything spring..the perfect weather, the blooming flowers, the colors, everything new and fresh. I just love it. I also loved putting together this party. I enjoyed making a lot of the details, gathering little things here and there over the weeks before, and watching everyone enjoy themselves the day of. we had hired a taco cart for food, so it was really nice to just sit back and relax with everyone. the kids had fun hunting the 500 hidden eggs + the 3 golden eggs that held the prize money.;) plus a few games. it was a fun day.

St. Patrick's Day fun!

St. Patrick's Day is another fun holiday. Really, it's just one of those that are happy and fun. Love rainbows and bright colors and the idea of a pot of gold and a silly leprechaun. Another fun day for the kids to wake up to.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is another favorite. I love everything hearts, pink and red and love. 

and love making my family feel special by waking up to a celebration that morning.

big 4-0!

my husband turned the big 4-0! he refused to have a big ol party, but, I managed to talk him into a family bbq. I tried to include his favorites in the details, wanted to cook instead of cater, and even made the cake. nothing was perfect, but, a lot of love went into it.;) it was definitely a fun day celebrating him. xo
