ready, set, RACE!!

Cole has been all about race cars and hot wheels, etc. So, I thought how fun would it be to make a little makeshift race track for him and his friends? And that's exactly what we did! Turned the tennis court into Cole's Speedway! The kids had so much fun taking turns racing in small groups or just cruising around. He had a great time! Here's a look around...

the kids wanted different color hair to represent their "car" color. loved it!

Cole was in charge of the sign.;)

we did Cole's favorites: pizza and pancakes!

I set up a little pancake bar as well as his breakfast favorites.

and then some pizza, breadsticks and sides.

happy 5, Cole!!

a couple of race tracks were set out for the kids to play with

i made a couple of monster trucks out of cardboard boxes. the kids could wear them and race around with them.

monster trucks and monster bubbles were used as centerpieces

i hung checkered flags and balloons along the back fence..kinda hard to tell..it was so windy that day

naturally a jumpy/slide was a necessity ;) i got some monster balls for the kids to play with inside the jumpy too.
