welcome to mickey's clubhouse! (as you entered i had mickey tunes playing personalized with luke's name)
i baked these mickey mouse cookies with mickey sprinkles on a stick...for the favor bags.
mickey topiaries :)
this was the sign in table...which also held the favor bags. the kids got one upon arrival, with mickey ears, bubbles, and a blow out mickey party toy. the other bags they left with had an art set, coloring book, watch, and the cookie. :) i love doing treat bags!
upon arrival the kids also got a mickey name badge to wear..
red for girls, blue for boys...
and a few of us even wore minnie hair clips ;) ella sneaking a lick of course. haha.
this was my first time creating chocolate, white choc, and peanut butter dipped variety prezels...they were a hit and have been at every gathering i have had since! :)

it really was a fun day! all the party planning was a success! and i couldn't have done everything without the help of melissa...so thanks again melissa! :)
That was such a fun party!! You forgot to mention the custom Mickey Mouse songs for Luke! You think of everything down to the smallest details!

Looks like a beautifully planned party! I am taking notes. I loved the idea of the sign in sheet with the pictures of Luke. Did you frame that in his room? I will definitely remember that. Love those dipped pretzels too. I want one.

ReplyDelete(genn)..thank you..and yes, i actually bought a frame that already had a matte like this..so it was super easy. i have one from ella's too (they are hanging in their play room). for ella's second party i decorated a couple of scrapbook pages that the guests could sign..then i slipped them into the scrapbook for the year :)

ReplyDeletethe mickey heads on a stick..the topiary looking ones..i made. i took different size styrofoam balls..spray painted them black..painted the dowel..stuck them in the head attached some ribbon, and then put it in a vase filled with lentils (styrofoam on the bottom)..super easy!! you could make them for all the centerpieces! ;) happy planning! :)

ReplyDeleteSloanfab5-sorry I never saw your comments til just now! Thank you for the compliments and website suggestion!! I got his shirt at chasing-fireflies.com. And for the pretzels I melt ghiradelli choc chips (the best!) and just spoon on the chocolate and add sprinkles! Super easy and always a hit! And for the mickey cookies I ordered a mickey cookie pan off ebay and stuck the sticks in while baking..and the sprinkles too (I ordered those off ebay too). Hope that helps :)

She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES the clubhouse music plus most of the music on Disney channel and I have been wanting to incorporate that as a part of her birthday!
